As part of the Corporate Marketing team you will be at the forefront of digital communications at Novartis. Responsible for developing and maintaining Novartis digital ecosystems that are sustainable, reflective of business objectives, consistent with the corporate brand and create a positive user experience
About the Role
Key Requirements:
- Day-to-day external and internal web operations, administration of content management frameworks, and collaboration to successfully plan, prioritize, and execute web initiatives
- Supports evolution of corporate web channels (external and intranet) including business analysis, testing, functionality and features, third-party integrations, user experience (UX) and accessibility
- Interfaces with DD&IT and other technical partners on platform availability, maintenance, security and privacy topics
- Supports web and intranet analytics configuration and management
- Collaborates with the Director, Digital Platforms and Senior Webmaster on daily operations, feature development and backlog management
- Ensures web channels reflect the Novartis brand in terms of visual design and architectures, in partnership with the Novartis Brand team, UX leads and external partners
- Partners with in-country communication teams to ensure that country and local language web channels are developed and operated to a common standard
- Manages third-party contractors and agencies
Essential Requirements
- Experience operating a large web ecosystem including provisioning of new sites, content publishing and migration
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including DD&IT and business partners
- English language, fluent. Other languages, especially German, also useful
Desirable Requirements
- University degree (Bachelors) or equivalent training and experience
- 5-7 years of experience in digital communications or related areas
- Experience operating a large web ecosystem including provisioning of new sites, content publishing and migration
- Understanding of UX/UI, digital accessibility, data privacy, SEO/SEM and web analytics including Google Analytics (GA4)
- Knowledge of software architectures, Drupal and other content management frameworks, HTML/CSS/JavaScript and content delivery networks (CDN) - front-end development experience also useful.
